This is the Australian release of the original soundtrack recording of Rodgers and Hammerstein's "The Sound of Music." Manufactured by RCA of Australia Pty. Ltd., this album features music arranged and conducted by Irwin Kostal. It achieved remarkable success, reaching number one on the Australian charts on April 24, 1965, and maintaining that position for a total of 76 weeks, with its final week at number one being April 1, 1967. Media Condition: Very Good Plus (VG+)
A VG+ record will show some signs that it was played and otherwise handled by a previous owner who took good care of it. These signs of wear include visible scuffs or scratches, or may have slight warp.
